Re: sticker chart

I have a different twist on the sticker issue. I use stickers with my high
school (yes, high school) Art II's and they eat it up! Every Friday is
Sketchbook Day (one hour designated for drawing only). I give a sticker to
each student who remembers to bring theirs to class and is actively working
in it. The incentive is that if a student earns 8 stickers in the 9 week
grading period, they may delete (opt out) of one required drawing for that
qtr. It really isn't that much of a prize, but you'd think it was $! They
love it and collect all their stickers on the inside of their sketchbooks. I
try to buy cool stickers- not generic teacher ones. It's really cute to hear
the football players say "Hey! you skipped my table! I didn't get a sticker!" works!
