Teacher suport is easy. Just create a school newspaper that is monthly
and publicize teacher attributes in the newspaper. We have "The Happenings,
that publishes once a month and gives a calendar, food menu and daily things
going on at our school. I don't know what software they use, but if you're
interested write me, an I'll get back to you.
Principal support could be through the use of parent volunteers to help
the principal carry out publicity in the community. They do adopt-a class
where we get business in the community to donate $100.00 to a class for
teacher supplies. They also help with fund raising events, Dare Drug
graduation, Graduation, assemblies, and basic things like cutting out a
pilgrim costume for the holidays. I don't know what grades you are teaching,
but parent involvement helps the principal and the parents also get special
consideration when choosing the right teacher for their student. We don't
match student to teacher , but rather student to the learning environment.
Enrichment such as PE, Art, and Music has a say in this every year on how to
give each student the best class to learn.
