I have found that Birkenstocks or Stedmans keep me on my feet. Year round.
This summer I sprained my ankle, and have been in sturdy sneaker-like walking
shoes, ever since. I am longing to return to my Birkenstocks. Tonight I wore
my old faithful B's to a school committee meeting, but I'm afraid my ankle is
asking for the sneakers tomorrow. My feet were so happy tonight.
