Get a coat/hat tree...the kind that has hooks around it. Hang cool clothing
on it....students always like old leather jackets, denim jackets, sequined
fancy wear, cool hats, scarves/boa, hang some work boots (fake Timberlines!),
maybe an old bathrobe/kimono.

Benefits: It's "in the round" and vertical...easy to see from various parts
of the room.
              It is somewhat portable and movable, if that is needed.
              It is challenging.

(May I say, as a totally isolated art teacher, just reading your words,
whether positive or negative, funny or sad, makes me feel not so very all
alone!)
