The past few years i have had students bring in "stuff".....but instead of
the usual we "reproduced" an actual still life ...we used Audrey Flack's
composition and they selected the objects as similiar as possible to those
objects found in her work....they seemed to identify with the still life
more...andthe teaching of actual elements and principles of design became
much easier.....anna
