Susan - I love the brilliance of these pastels and have used them for the
fifth graders
Mothers Day gifts. You must caution the kids NOT to bear down and leave a
heavy residue - they will if you don;t watch them - think they are crayons -
those that didn;t listen I gave crayons to finish their pictures. The
blending and washes you can
achieve with these pastels is great. But it does take a mature thinking
elementary
child to follow the rules. We did large florals from a silk flower set-up.
Most turned
out very nice. Roberta
