Sometimes it's easier to say, "This was a learning process. We;ll try again
with another method." I had a flop my first year also, dinosaurs. After
throwing them all in the trash, we made dinosaur sculptures with alumium foil.
Try doing the paper mache over a solid object, like a ball of newspaper or a
plastic bowl. They don't have to be completely round do they? It could be a
high relief sculpture. I've done masks successfully with third graders for
the last two years using part of a 1 gallon milk carton as the form. Just
keep trying! Janet
