I received everyone's posts throughout the holiday weekend. I
noticed that many of you who did not receive the posts have AOL.
Janice Jearreau also was not receiving the list--and she has AOL.
Could this be a problem with AOL?

I have been a bit amused that since there election--there has been
no mention of politics on the list....until Vivian's post about
certification. Just gave me a chuckle--that's all. I was wondering if
we had any Floridians out there. The outrageous adult behavior I
saw on TV gave me some discussion topics for my students today
(new group of students....I talked a lot about respect...and
individual rights...waiting your turn to speak---
blah,blah,blah....Yeah, I watched way too much of it--but it was
better than football!)

For some reason the Picasso Portrait site that was listed in Surfing
the Net with Kids is no longer available---too bad because it was an
excellent site. I was surprised that one of the other sites was listed-
--way too many nudes for my students (and I teach middle school).
There are other Picasso sites out there. I have some on my Web
page: http://www2.wcoil.com/~mdecker/picasso.htm
Carolyn Roberts (I think) posted one during the summer I have it
listed at the bottom of the page ("cool Cubism site")
