And it is about time that we do something about it. Even though we have no
one on a cart in this district and all classrooms are warm/cool and dry, we
are still not the equivalent to a "real" academic course.
Recently we were advised at a dept. head meeting that there was "leftover"
money and we needed to decide how to spend it. We were told to canvas our
depts. and come up with a list of requests. I did so and turned it in to the
principal. At our last meeting we were advised that the district had returned
our requests because the money could only be used by .... Math, Science,
English, and Social Studies.
