My fourth graders couldn't wait to get their pottery home. Almost every child
had planned to give it as a gift to someone. We studied Maria Martinez and
did coil pots with watercolor designs.
I do a pumpkin painting each year to introduce color mixing. to kindergarten.
I don't consider it a holiday item, but seasonal.
