Doing the same thing ( using equalateral triangles/rhombus shapes) with my
art 2 students right now -only we are progressively "modifing" the cuts in
order to "morph" the image. Once the images are designed and drawn on the
board, they will score the "equalaleral triangles" to form a 3D oblesque. I
will keep you posted as to how they turn out.
