I am going out on a limb here...but I have said this before...reading to
children is not integrating language arts into your art curriculum, just like
using a piece of art as a writing prompt is not integrating visual art into
the language arts curriculum. I am surprised this is an issue....all of you
complain about how little time you have with your students...and then feel
you have time to read to them. As I said...I use literature/poetry, etc...to
introduce concepts and lessons...but I am too busy teaching during the studio
portion of our lesson to read. I guess that is just me.
