To what are you referring? There was nothing in the original post or
the replies I saw that indicated someone was reading to the students
(which, by the way, seems like a good idea to me--tapping into their
receptive mode, increasing vocabulary, creating mental imagery, and
calming them down). I personally don't know any principals who would
see anything wrong with that. I'm sorry yours would.
