Suggestion....
Dismiss one table (or Group) at a time to clean up -as these students have a
"pre-determined amount of time to clean up (ie. 2min.) and get back in their
seats with a piece of drawing paper and pencil (or crayon). You call the
next table. While these students are cleaning some are still working and
others who have cleaned up are now working at there seats with "clean" media.
Repeat till all students are clean and seated. Have children put Crayons
away and take their pictures with them. I also begin the projects this way
-all children must be prepared and seated before materials are distributed.
I have called one group up at a time to print while others were drawing at
their seats -Quietly. You are the boss! They will do it your way or they
won't do it at all!
