Re: Re(2): "Is this good enough"

we're working in clay right now, and I want them to have the proper tools, so
I have one of those lazy susans for pencils, a funky 3 tiered thing - clay
tools around the bottom ring, only holds 24 on the ring so several classes
have to share, and needle tools around the next speech is short,
'I want you to have proper tools to work with, these are good not great, but
if you decide ton go on with clay, you can buy a set of good tools from me in
art 2(when they have locking drawers) all tools will be back in the little
holes on this caddie or no one leaves. and we/ll need a tool guy(gal) to
monitor cleanup - and oh, by the way, in class, this is a needle tool, if it
goes out the door it is a weapon, and you will be charged as such,If we can't
fingd a tool, the assistant principal will be called to class and a back
pack/person check will be conducted.' We couldn't find one once in one class,
and low and behold ,5 seconds before the bell rang, a little teacher's kid
who is a monster, 'found ' it in another teacher's kid's
bucket...hmmmmmmmm....almost had to go thru with my call to the principal,
but they know I'm serious, hasn't happened again in ANY class, word travels
fast - I get alot of the' is this good enough?' in ceramics - a poor little
limp coil thing, supposed to be the top to a wind chime... one eyebrow goes
up...'nooooo, did you_____ or _____ or _____?????? were you here when it was
explained? Did you think you didn't need to do it this way? ????'....then
comes the whine...'buuutttttt Mrrrssssss.
Wwwwhhheeeellllleeerrrrrr'........ahhh, it doesn't get any better than
this!!! :-) Deb W 'Art Nazis' Unite!!!
