Re: baby shower

I have done a great baby gift for a staff member in my school. I had
everyone who wanted to participate design and color (in reverse) a square
with fabric crayons for the new baby. Then I transferred each square onto a
white piece of fabric, sewed a baby fabric and quilting polyester between and
made a baby blanket. The Mom cherished it! I've also given everyone a ball
of yarn and sewed them to knit or crochet squares and then I put them
together for a blanket..that is asking a lot of the staff as most people
DON't crochet...but the other is easy..then could even design the square on
the computer and put it on special transfer paper....great gift for
retirement too !
