I think that we get very few kids that plan to go on in Art, compared to
those who go on in choir or certainly in they are very reluctant
for art to become a 'real' subject, they want to 'mess with clay', not work
in ceramics, they want to smudge $3.00 worth of pastels on a paper so they
can write their name in it, or they want to learn to make old english letters
so they can swipe your india ink and set up a tatoo parlor, huff your spray
paint, jack your airbrushes...have I left anything out, oh yeah, sometimes
you can actually spark an interest in art and artists!!

So I work around their wayout interests, have you ever noticed how art 3 & 4
attracts these crazy kids with multiple piercings and goofy haircuts?? maybe
it's just my teeny west Texas town... :-) Art Nazis Unite!!!!! Deb W
