Clay Castles K - 2

Many thanks to the art teacher on our artsednet who suggested this.
We viewed a brief clip of the castles video (cartoon portion) and made 3-D
clay castles from modeling clay, flattening clay and creating walls, draw
bridges, trees, people, animals, etc. It was exciting and challenging and I
had great results. I didn't show them anything beyond how to create a castle
wall.
We're running short of plastic knives, but the experience is great
and the teacher is a happy person!!!! (A blessing at the end of the year!!!)
