Displaying student artwork

For displaying 2 dimensional art work, I have purchased twelve 36" wide luan
hollow core doors and hinged them together in groups of three. I set those up
in a zig zag wherever I need them. We use thumb tacks to hold the four
corners without being pushed through the mats. At the moment they are still
the way they arrived from the building supply store. Next year I will paint
them and cover most of the door surface with cloth edged with fabric trim. I
have four units of three doors each. This will be a total cost of
approximately $300.00 for 504 square feet of display space. It is almost more
than I need. I made the money selling cookies, etc. Now I have to come up
with a similarly inexpensive and portable way to display 3d stuff. Any ideas?
