ed programs offered by arts organisations

Hello Everyone

I have just joined this discussion group. What a fantastic opportunity
to network worldwide. I am an ex school teacher, dancer, choreographer
and now an arts administrator. Anyway, I'm currently doing research on
education programs offered by arts organisations such as
dance/theatre/music/performing arts companies, arts centres that
provide arts programs - performing arts, visual arts, etc (not schools
or other educational institutions). Does anyone know if any research
has been done on the outcomes/impact/ of arts education programs offered
by such organisations. I'm chasing the value/benefits to the
organisation, to the target audience (whether that be pre-school,
primary school, secondary school, tertiary institutions, general public
etc) and to the art form the program is based on. Any information will
be most welcomed.
