I recently had to do rush centerpieces. If you have some baskets great,
otherwise improvise, even a big brown paperbag rolled down will do. Get
some nonpoisonous greenery, put in bag as if a vase. Have students draw,
color and cut out flowers, at least 4" diameter. attach with scotch tape to
straw, or wooden skewers. Insert among greenery. If you need smaller
centerpieces, use smaller lunch brown bags. If there's a problem with
falling, put a weight, rock, etc. in each bag.
