I know you mentioned that the kids don't want Vaseline on their face.....but
I just want to mention the nightmare that happened to me concerning Vaseline.
I did this project with the gauze and plaster strips making masks.
A student had an allergy to the vaseline which is a petroleum based product.
This was not in his file.
He had such a severe reaction to the Vaseline that he was hospitalized for
two weeks with severe upper respiratory distress. I will never do it again.
