Bunki,
"...those thin cardboard tubes..." STILL make lines on my hanging
pants! How about using them as the spines of books? Could a needle or
old metal pointy compass punch holes thru the tube--and pipe cleaners
or yarn or telephone wire might be inserted to connect the book itself
to its spine? (As in, sewing the book pages to the spine). The tubes
would lend themselves to decoration as well, i.e. paint, more wire,
hanging beads, etc. sandrahardee (sc)
