I am just finishing up my student teaching experience. Things went great,
and I will be sad to leave.
I have just been asked to teach a summer camp for elementary students at
the museum. It is a great summer job, and we are lucky enough to have the
Egyptian exhibit up while my students are in class. I am supposed to
develop a curriculum for them based on the exhibit.
They will be working in plaster, clay, and any other materials I could
think of. In the letter sent to prospective students, the following
activities were presented: bas relief, plaster carving, and clay work.
My question--does anyone out there have great ideas to share for possible
projects that tie into the exhibit? I remember a previous discussion
on this topic before and I plan to consult the archives.
I appreciate any suggestions.
Thank you,
Amanda Clarke
