Here goes
1 I love kids & art-- I love summers off --I love doing art related work all
day-- I love being
able to share my Knowledge-- I like to teach kids things I diddn't even learn
in college--
I love the creativity of creating my own lessons /

2 I majored in painting b/c no jobs were found by graduates ahead of me \
People in art ed. don't get exposed to enough studio. I feel that you should
get a fine arts major & then be required to take only 1 semester of B___.S___.
ed courses. One of my teachers always said" Teachers Are Born / not taught to
teach." All you need is Foundations of Ed., Hist. of Ed.& Ed. Psych. */* In NC
we have to integrate to the point that Art Hist /
Aesthetics/ Appreciation /suffer terribly--

3 I would change attitudes of Teachers & Principals who think art is a break
or opportunity to plan / For it to be considered as important (which research
has shown)
to basic education as any other subject.* Why/ -- So We wouldn't Get Shafted &
be treated as step children.
