I never had any problem with my sons who were also at times in the same
school (s) as I. First as a substitute in elementary school. One funny
thing happened with a sixth grade art class, though when my oldest was in
the class. Andy was trying to get my attention for help with "Mom..." and
one other student yelled out, "She's Miss Marze to you, too."
I didn't see much of the youngest three when I was transferred to the high
school. They tried to stay out of trouble so I wouldn't get any flack even
to the extreme of one waiting to take a fight out of school and into the
neighborhood.
One problem I found, though, was that they always didn't get courstesy
from other teachers. Surprise.
