For those who want to experiment with watercolors this summer. Two great
papers to use is Strathmore rough, 140 lb. on a pad, and Lanaquarelle rough
140 lb. in sheet form. It cost about $3.00 for a sheet. Lanaquarelle is warmer
in color. They're great to take mistakes by blotting up the color. They're
resistant to harsh treatment and only the stain colors like alizarim crimson
are hard to pick up. Try them for experiments.
