End of year and Mike

Mike I'll be interested to here about the wisdom learned. Don't
forget to post with the list,I also like the final project idea as I
think it is good for them to learn how to write proposals etc. and
how to voice their opinions and directives into writing.

Another idea for"Adios" at school.
Although not an accredited teacher,but lots of experience teaching
as well as 1&1/2 years doing DBAE,I found last year I passed out a
survey to the teachers as well as the volunteers to get their voice
on lesson,time frame,students,likes dislikes etc.and had them hand
them back to my mail box anonymously. it really helped to improve
the structure of the class and lesson. One thing echoed-More time!
and
More Artists and Cultures!!!We expanded the class to 1&1/2 hours a
lesson and added another artist and culture. We also increased our
volunteers from 9 the first year to 18 the second. More were willing
to step in and some just to do prep work ,like cutting,sewing etc.
Also parents wanted to contribute their culture to the classes.
This is a small school,170-preschool-8th. I'm sure you'd get a
bigger response.
