We are tired, perhaps a little burnt out and the kids are starting to need
vacation too. Summer's a good time to wind down and reflect and see how we
can improve what we already do well and to hunt down some new ideas. I always
try a mock-up sample first before I teach it. Summer is the time for that.
So many great-sounding projects had busted on me in the classroom. If I can't
do it... surely the kids can't. I find many lessons written in the books are
appropriate for very small groups ( like scouts). but are unmanageable in an
actural classroom.
Let's communicate over the summer on what we know works....
Bye to those who won't be logging on this Summer.
