A while back there was a discussion regarding what could be done with
the new recyclable, dissolvable popcorn packaging material that often
arrives in our supplies boxes. I recently saw an idea in a bead magazine
that may be of interest to the group. A woman had taken thin strips
Fimo/Sculpy and wrapped the popcorn in a lacy manner. After cooking the
clay until it was hard, she soaked the "bead" in water until the popcorn
dissolved out. She was left with a beautiful hollow bead which joined
others to make a necklace. Sort of a new fangled lost wax technique.
Thought it had possibilities.
