Pre-schoolers and lessons on guns and violence

Hello. I am a student at OSU. I am assigned to develop a lesson plan for
pre-schools. The issue is guns and violence. I have thought about having a
police officer talk to the children and I have also thought about using
non-violent cartoons to show that we can solve problems without violence
(i.e., Scooby-Doo). If anyone has any other suggestions, I would greatly
appreciate them.
