Assessment and Enrichment

Thanks to everyone for sharing so much. There is so much useful stuff
out there.

Here are several questions I would like to pose:

What kind of assessment do you use for grading your students?

Do the students grade themselves?

Do you have any enrichment periods, in addition to the required art
periods for any or all grade levels?

In those enrichment periods what students participate, what do you teach
and for how long?

I am particularly interested in answers regarding elementary art
education (k-5) but feel free to answer if you think what you do will
apply.
