I have been interested to read all the current listinga about
projects based on Georgia O'Keeffe. There is quite a fine video on her if
you have time for that. I like it because it shows the environs in the SW
which influenced much of her work and also features her. My classes do
this project either in Acrylic paint or in pastels blending them by using
turpentine. I am wondering if anyone knows more about pastels in
turpentine. We just dip them and blend, probably on tag board. It seems
to work effectively, but I wonder if you have any suggestions on refining
this process. Thanks. Ann W (Michigan---)

p.s. the tip yesterday to use a viewing frame to help select portions of
the subject to abstract is a great idea! thanks.
