Hi Barbara
Nice to meet you. I'm an Education Officer at the Immigration and
Hellenic Antiquities Museums in Melbourne Australia. Your program sounds
fantastic. Have you tried: making Victorian desserts and treats, like
syllabub; dolls' houses; peg dolls (we have a beautiful Victorian one in
our collection); stencils for decorating rooms; doilies; Victorian Xmas
cards with their layers, lace and decorations (I've done these painting
photocopies with watercolour pencils then sticking them on); fabric (eg.
velvet) covered photo albums; and marbled end papers/wrapping papers for
books and presents (there are easier and harder ways of doing marbling,
depending on the age of the kids). These are just a few things off the
top of my head early on a Monday morning. Hope they are of some use!!!
