Hello All,

Thanks to all of you who responded to my query about teaching art at a
catholic school. The meeting with the principal was interesting. The
bottom line is that she will agree to pay me as a consultant (art) the
summ of $1000.00. It is up to me to decide what to do. Although the sum is
paltry, it does offer flexibility and a chance to get a foot in the door.

I could concentrate on one grade, divide my time between grades or we
could start an art club. I would have use of classrooms-no art room. I
could combine a lesson w/ the teacher on some particular lesson.
Some teachers don't like 'intruders' and would decline my offer (sheesh).

Although some art is better than none, it is discouraging. I am not even
sure if I will do it, I am torn. If any of you have thoughts on the
subject I would be more that happy to hear form you, any feedback would
be appreciated.
