Does anyone know the answer to this question about Jasper Johns' painting
of a bullseye? One of my students pointed out that a shadowy patch to the
bottom, left of the "target" looks a little like the shape of a person.
I don't know if it really looks that way, or if it merely has something to
do with the reproduction of the picture in Jansen. I would appreciate any
information from the group on this point.
