You might be interested in taking a look at "DoodleOpolis: Adventures In
Urban Architecture" which is just finishing up at
<http://www.usinternet.com/onlineclass/Doodle/doodle.html>. For 12 weeks,
students have been learning about spatial relationships and architecture,
and
conversing online. Since quite a few classrooms work together, the pressure
on individual keypals is lessened. It also allows us to provide some expert
guests for the group - available by email to the group. DoodleOpolis is
just finishing for this year, but it will be back again next year. See the
