This exchange of funny stories is great! One of my personal favorites occurred many years ago in a first grade class. I was using a Rembrandt visual aid to illustrate a point, and I mentioned as an aside that the artist had lived about 300 years ago. One little guy, wide-eyed and perfectly serious, said, "Wow! 300 years ago! If that guy was alive today, he'd be dead."
