[teacherartexchange] face painting

Somehow it makes me feel good to know other art teachers are asked to do weekend face painting also! I have used the water based non-toxic "crayons" by Caran D'ache for years. they are safe and easy to use and all you need is a little water to draw on the face. they are not oily and are easy to wash off later and they come in great colors. i like the butterfly design also. I generally give them 5 choices and that is it. A butterfly, ladybug, mask (like batman), spiderweb, or a heart on one cheek/flower on other cheek. if you don't give them choicves they sit they request stuff like Pokemon! here's a link for the pastels I am talking about. it is important you don't buy the WAX based ones:
