[teacherartexchange] 3-D AP Portfolio

I have a student who wants to do the 3-D AP portfolio next year. I've
never done 3-D, and am more of a 2-D artist, myself, so I don't have
much experience with anything beyond ceramics, and this kid is really
into wood carving and woodwork.

Any suggestions? What should I expect? Do you have to send in actual
works? That could be expensive.
