I have a friend who is trying to find a old painting which she thinks is by
an old master... of a girl with long brown hair sitting in a boat on a
lake...and she doesn't think the girl has a hat on...lots of blues and
greens...kind of monet-ish or degas.
She wants to do something special for a cancer patient who reminds her of
this "girl in the boat".
I suggested Mary Cassat's "Boating Party", Monet's "Girls on a Boat" and
"Boating on the River Epte", and Renoir's "Girl in a Boat"...but none of
these are the one she's looking for.
Can anybody help...can you think of a painting like she's describing?
