I let my artclub students cover the sidewalks with Happy Summer messages and they did some neat things with suns, flip flops, swimming etc.. It looked great and they got a lot of compliments on it. I asked the GT group that I had 3 days this week (after regular school was out) if they wanted to take chalk outside at recess. One of the boys said, nah that is girl stuff -they just draw butterflies and hearts. Then I came home and my mom had sent me this link. I wished I had seen it a day earlier so I could have shared it with the boys and inspired them! Enjoy browsing!
