Thanks for sharing. I have been dabbling in Visual
Journaling after a workshop with Jeanne Minnix (anyone
know her? She was really cool) I've given my eighth
graders the task of creating 3 spreads in their
sketchbooks of visual journaling inspired by prompts
I've given them, and I have encouraged them by
responding to the prompts in one of my own
sketchbooks. I thoguht it might be easier to try this
method instead of diving right in to altered books,
which I've always been interested in but I've been a
bit intimidated. My next plan is to remove the work
I've done from my sketchbook and create a new book of
just visual journaling entries. I like the idea of
working on everthing first then binding them all
together so I can rearrange pages to make it flow
better. Thanks Judy for these links; they are cool
ideas.
