Thanks for the responses about my maskmaking dilemma. I told the class that
they lost the project, but then the dean came in to talk to the class and
suggested that I give them another chance so that they could redeem themselves.
She said that if the class did a really nice job on the masks, she would find a
way to display them and would announce it on the morning announcements. The
class was slightly better, but I still had kids playing around and not
following directions. In a way, I wish they had lost the project so that they could
learn a lesson from it. Oh well, next week they start painting and
decorating. If they can't handle it, I'll simply stop those individual students from
completing the project and try to allow the rest to continue.
Mly next question is about my upcoming art show. I've been working so hard
on it. I'm about to order my ribbons, but I'm not sure if each student should
get a participant ribbon or an honorable mention ribbon. The cheapest I've
found is at oriental trading. They have a green participant and a white
honorable mention. What do you guys think?
