[teacherartexchange] Dinosaur Dig / recipes?

I am hoping someone has a recipe to make individual 'dinosaur - dig' kits.
 
I want each child to have his own block of 'stone', in which he'll find a
dinosaur bone!!!!
(perhaps made from sand,plaster???)
