"The Kite Runner" by Khaled Hosseini, a book about the emotional conflict of an Afghanistan man, and "Sister" by A. Manette Ansay. a book about a Wisconsin woman whose brother disappears, are both great. I haven't read "Shadow of the Wind" yet but thanks for the recommendation. Enjoy your summers everyone and happy reading!

Subject: [teacherartexchange] Favorite Book for Summer Reading
Hi, All!
Last year we had a thread where we shared our book recommendations. I was in a book group after school this past school year with other teachers. All of us had different views of which books were good, but we all agree that the BEST two books the group read were Kite Runner and Shadow of the Wind. These are fabulous books! Has anyone else read a book that you highly recommend? Please share.
