Dear Art Teachers,

Thank you so much for the very warm and helpful advice. To answer your questions
this is a high school art teacher in a very small community. He is a personal
friend of mine and last year he was my cooperating teacher for a practicum I
was taking while in school. I know how his classes are taught and assessed. He
has been the teacher here for many years, and on the wall is a portrait of him
that a student created that says, "In (teacher's last name) we trust." This
term he is teaching 70 minute classes in Film, Ceramics, Drawing and Painting.
Four Preps....

I am just supporting the substitute and providing plans for her to actually
utilize, I will not actually be in the classroom which is very difficult for
me. I have known most of these kids for the duration of their high school
experience.

I am sorry that I didn't reply sooner to your questions, I am working 7 days a
week right now between completing my Masters in Education, pursuing a second
endorsement in Language Arts, and I opened an art gallery for the summer as
well. My last worksample is due in the next couple weeks.

I plan on following much of the advice that all of you have shared. Thank you
for sharing your personal experiences they are very helpful to me.

I will let you know how it goes.
Thanks again!
Kathryn Harmon
