I am creating substitute plans for an art teacher who is very ill. He is in the
hospital, and the students have not had an opportunity to deal with his absence
at
all. I am looking for lesson plans that will help create positive energy and
support for this very beloved teacher, and help the students create a
supportive community in his absence. Does anyone have any sources or
suggestions for lesson plans etc. that would relate to this situation? There is
about one month left in the school year, and I have a great deal to do in the
interim, I am worried about missing a very teachable moment.
