I'm relocating to another state too and what you will need to do is apply for an Illinois Teaching Certificate. You cannot teach without one. Most likely everything will transfer over, you might have some stipulations to meet within a certain time frame. The schools will interview and consider you as long as they know you are in the process and your certificate is pending. Marcia L.
