I have found that the key to flaking tempra is not to put it on real thick.
(i.e. one coat only). The paint did not peel off for us.

Hi Sandee,

Just curious, If you used tempera, and then moved the painted butcher
paper to make 3D figures, didn't the tempera peel off or flake off?
How'd you solve that problem?
